GSC 748-1618 V-I

I started getting Ic data last night and using the Henden sequence it's 
going like this:

0.71     0.83
0.72     0.83
0.73     0.83
0.74     0.83
0.75     0.83

As the star is going from maximum (at phase 0.5) to minimum (at phase 
1.0), it is getting bluer. That seems contrary to what Patrick said 
earlier. Am I reading this wrong?
