Tom,

The MACHO Project took two-color data and used to see such things 
occasionally. The single events inevitably had solar-like colors and
were asteroids near their stationary points! Note that we used template
positions for photometry and so such objects had to be within a resolving
element of a template star to be seen. In bulge fields we were pretty
much confusion-limited so this didn't exclude too many such events!
Since we were only looking at positions near the galactic center,
there were defined seasons for stationary point asteroid detections!
