`I am back from a couple of weeks doing not much of anything.  This ended with a trip to visit my wife's relatives.  Sigh! 

 

I am back to trying to get everything working again.  Everything is sick one way or another. 

 

I am again looking at DVDs.  Looks like DVD+R is the most probable thing to use.  The disks appear to be cheap enough.  Anyone with a recommendation for what to buy.  A look for software was not very encouraging.  I balk when I see the most likely spot say "Kernel Patch".  I hope to try to upgrade to Mandrake 9.1 in the near future.  Does this support writing to DVD-R as an archive?

 

Now to go to work.  I have TOM3 often writing garbage, TOM2 works well but has a range of Dec where it wiggles, TOM1 has a sick V camera.  This was caused by my running it too cold.  Water condensed on the cables and got into the camera connectors.  This destroyed some of the pins.
