I'd bet good money that you've got an Algol or W Ser. The V eclipses
are noticeably deeper than those in I, a sign that the stars are of
very different temperatures, hence the secondary eclipses will be much
shallower. Another indicator is that the depth of the V eclipse is so
large. You can't get an eclipse much deeper than 3/4 of a magnitiude
with stars that are of very similar temperatures (which would produce
nearly identical eclipses and thus trick you into believing the period
is half its true value). Good I-band photometry near suspected 0.5
phases would be useful.
