September produced a record for the number of measurement pairs.   The new
record is 17,599,663 measurement pairs.

Slowly I am getting the process automated.  Still, writing 15-20 CDs every
day is a big pain.  There is hope for a switch to DVDs in the future, but I
still want to hear more about how permanent they are.  So far, the reports
are mixed.  One would think that the lower density of the CD with the newer
technology that allows DVDs would make CD reliability assured.
