If you truly have switches, they have a bus which is capable of handling
full bandwidth between two points, across all their ports, at once. A
hub will share the bandwidth across all ports.

Not unless you have routers...

I don't believe it will. Are all you your 'things' switches, and
100/10Mb?
I'm actually running 4 switches on one leg in my house, and
have not had any problem, but I'm not paying close attention to the
speed. I'll check tonight.
