Data Taking

I am trying to make use of this extra darkness to get a little more data.  The telescopes have been off for a couple of weeks because of all the clouds.  Now with clearer sky the last couple of days I have been trying to rim.  It is always a struggle.  At first all the systems had one thing or another sick.  I was trying to get the tilt of all t he cameras adjusted when the clouds moved in so the first thing I had to do was find a good focus for all the camers.

Then TOM3 suffered a bent pin on the camera.  With a little luck, Dan was able to straighten it.  Last night it worked OK except the V camera had a sticky shutter.  Dan worked on it this afternoon.  Now TOM3 does not work at all.  Careful inspection of the ADC voltages shows that some of the clock voltages are way off their values.  Sigh!  At least two of the three systems are working.  I suspect the pin is bent again.  Sigh!  There are only so many times a pin can be straightened.  Then I will have to try to build a new camera.  The ADC voltages are the first thing to look at when a camera is sick and othewise the sy;stem works.  I am glad that I built in the ADC system.

Dan almost has the test box completed.  Then I will work on spares for everything.
