RE: Variability statistics

Sorry everyone for not fulfilling my duty to keep things stirred up. Blame
a 2 week cold/flu and the creation of a calendar for the Rolls-Royce clup.
These are now both over.

As you all may recall, I have built a big black box so that I can test
everything for a system in the lab. I used to have to put a camera on a
telescope to see if it was working. Now I have a screen and a lens all in
a big black box. So far I do not have a complete set of working
components. Sigh! It is always a stuggle to get the first set of boards
working. Then it goes much faster to repair a sick board.

I have been doing a lot of computation with no positive result. But I
thing I understand why, and am planning steps which should produce better
data in the future.
