A recent message suggested the benefit of wireless for bridging difficult-to-wire connections. TASS folk may be interested to know that Linux firmware from www.sveasoft.com allows the Linksys WAP54G and WRT54G (802.11g access point and router, respectively) to more than triple their output power, from 25 mW to 84 mW. Furthermore, a number of additional modes of use are made available by this firmware which are supported by the original firmware. Cheers, Doug
