Re: Mark IV data off by one day
Those Guide predictions are based on old orbital elements, but since Bill
Gray precesses his osculating elements (you _are_ allowed to say that in
mixed company, but many are unsure), they are good to +/- 0.001 degrees when
I check against the Minor Planet Center. As it happens, 739 was observed
on 14 Apr 2004... so we _do_ know where it was!
