If the idea is to go into the database and regularly spot-check asteroid
positions as we are doing now, I will do that.
I guess I'd better start learning how to use the TASS database! I used to
do asteroid astrometry and submit observations to the MPC, so I'm familiar
with that part of it.
There *probably* isn't much value in actually submitting TASS asteroid
astrometry to the MPC, as the plate scale is quite large (or is that small
?-- I mean a large number of "/pxl) so the precision will be low compared to
other astrometric observers. But, that will be subject to reassessment
after I see what the residuals look like.
