Beautiful Night
Last night was a beautiful night. The images are flat looking and full of
stars. The night before last we got over 1.5 million measurement pairs. We
should do better with last night's data.
Some of you may wonder why I take data on scuzzy nights. I have been betting
that for some stars many measurements with large error bars beat a few
measurements with small error bars. Red stars come to mind.
Besides, when I take a bunch of clear nights and compare them to a bunch of
scuzzy nights, I don't see as much difference as I would expect. So I think
something else is going on.
