Dome is Fixed

Looks like we beat the thunderstorm that will eventually come.  Mike came in 
this morning and fixed the Dome.  

Whew!!  

It was not so bad and we did not have to go outside the dome to fix the strap 
that raises and lowers the dome.
It pays to think a lot before you try to fix something in a restricted space.  
We did some clear thinking and figured out where to put a prop and how to get 
at the place where the strap was attached without going outside the dome.  

It is really a clever mechanism.  One strap lifts one clam shell part and that 
part pushes on another strap that raises the next clam shell part.  No chance 
of understanding how it works without a diagram and lots of pictures.  A 
project for another time.
