The Prize #4
Doug Welch is helping me set up a computer that you all will be able to log
into and prepare data sets.
The plan is to load all the TOM2 data on this computer. It has 2 ea. 180 GB
disks. If that is not enough I will add a tird. When fixed, it will be a
dual processor machine with w 1GB of ram. (I wanted to write core)
Those of you that want to prepare data sets can log into this machine and run
scripts to create a result. I think I will also load IRAF so that you can
just get pieces of images.
You can then put all the files you want in a directory and I will write it to
DVD and mail it to you.
Hmmmm! I guess when all this gets working I will be able to have a web site.
Suggestions or comments? Doug is pointing me at ddclient which I will set up.
I trust you all will tell me how to set up a secure system.
