Re: IMAP Solution?

It takes a long time for a simple message sent to the EvenMail account to get
there. About a half hour this morning. I suspect that there is a long queue
for spam blocking and the like.

There are two reasons that I picked EvenMail.

1) 2Gbyte of storage for $50 a year
2) They have an archiving scheme which I just tested and it works.

You can ask them to send you a zipped list of messages. You can either mark
individual messages or whole directories. One can then stash this away.

When (if ever) you want to look at a message, you can unzip it to some
directory. It then makes a separate (readable by humans) file for each
message with the subject (and more stuff to solve the duplicates) as the file
name.

This at least solves the problem that I have had. The mail will live at
EvenMail forever as long as I pay my $50 a year, and I can have an archive at
home.
