September Data

I just finished writing the September archive. Five copies of 6 disks each.
OK I could have gotten the data on 4 but it is better organized on 6.

Just for fun I looked at the TOM2 September data. I used my program that
looks at a ws list and makes plots. Using a ws cut at 50 I got 194
candidates for the TOM2 data. Every one I looked at was an obvious variable.
From past experience with this cut, about half will not be found in the GCVS.

I did another cut where I just looked for V-I > 3. About half of these were
obvious long period variables over the one month of the September data.

Next I want to load all the TOM2 data and look with the V-I cut. This should
find lots of longer period stuff now that I have two years of data for a lot
of stars.

When I cover everything up for the winter this is going to be fun.

Sadly there is more noise than I would like. So I won't find many things that
only vary 0.1 mag. However, lots of data even cures this problem, so one
should start to find these when there is enough data and one can use period
searching tools.

So while the data is not as good as I would like, it is still still good
enough to have a lot of fun.
