Extrasolar Planets

discusses this. Michael Gutzwiller was able to measure one exoplanet with
his Mark IV. I think if you set them up for the task one could detect
planets as Mike predicts. We are not operating in a mode where this works
very well.
Sorry if this is a repeat of a previous post. I am still cleaning up my
mail mess.

TASS followers may find this article regarding extrasolar
planet probability and structure interesting:

If the TASS error bars on the magnitudes can be
cranked low enough -- it might be possible to
survey a large number of stars for planets
using occultation astronomy rather than the
spectroscopic methods that have been used to
discover most of the planets thus far.
