weather bad, computing

Just sitting here bored while I wait for a computing run to finish.  The
whole process shows some promise as the previous plot indicated.  Now I am
working on a larger data set to see if I can make it work for various star
densities.  Mostly it is a problem of figuring out what I want to do and
in what order and then getting it right.  Slowly I am learning perl to the
point that I no longer have to look up every instruction I write.
