Network Problems, Sigh!

Well, I was about to order "TCP/IP for Dummies" when a little more
correspondence convinced me that this is something that I will skip
learning.  Too much a black art, I think.  Looks like you just have to
know some things.  Which you can mostly only learn by working as a network
administrator for 24 hours a day.  I think I will rely on the generosity
of this great group to bail me out of network problems.  Meanwhile I will
put what energy I have into collecting and processing data.
