Re: Database Status
Hello Martin, and all,
For those that have not been following, about 1/6 of the images are now
available on line. I should eventually be able to put up about 1/3 of the
images. The images loaded so far are the TOM3 images from 2004. These
cover +50 to +90.
If you are studying a star, and would like to see a few images of the
field, it is reasonable to ask me to load them.
Doug West has written a search engine that allows finding all the images
that include a ra,dec position. Thus you can find if the field of
interest has been loaded.
Those of you that know how to do it, can ssh to mike and there work on the
data either on mike or matt which have plenty of computing capacity to do
things.
To do this you will need a login and password. Just ask me for one. If
you have posted frequently I will just send you one. If I don't recognize
you I might ask you what your interests are and what you intend to do.
