Nah, keep the raw data.  How often do you want to look at pretty pictures?  Were
as if some much better reduction method comes along, you cannot reduce as well
from 'modified' images.

If you're using DS9 to view the images, go over to the "scale" tab and click
either "99.5%" or "hist equ".  GAIA has similar capabilities.  Makes it real
easy to pick out stars from the original image.
