jSetting Up

I am slowly getting tom1 and tom2 set up to run.  I had been trying to set
them up so that all tom's were identical.  This proved to be a problem
since the drives are just not accurate.  I tried to set them up with both
dec limit switches below the horizon.  When I do this, then the dec drive
calibration has to be quite good or by the time the mount gets up to the
operating position it is off from the planned tile center.  The offset and
scale factor interract a lot so after several nights of fussing I have
given up.

I have now put each limit switch at the bottom of the range the telescope
tracks.  For tom1 this is at -8 degrees for tracking from -4 to + 24.  For
tom2 the limit switch is at about +24 and it will cover 28 to 56.

Just keepng everyone informed of what is going on.  The disk drive arrived
today for tom3 as did Mandriva 10.2.  So now there is nothing to stop
getting tom3 running.
