A Look at a Cleaned Tile
In plotting data from the tile previously posted, I noticed spurious
points common to one time of exposure. Looking at the 28 exposures I
found 3 that often had points far from the mean. I removed these three
exposures and the resulting plot is attached.
In previous work, removing bad frames did not improve the distribution.
I think that this is because Michael's "c) calibration" is more
important. By using tiles, the catalog calibration problems are reduced
and then one can see the effects of bad nights.
