Two quick issues.
1) I am not clear as to which of the flags should be checked in the NSVS query
form if the intention is to use the resulting information for variable star work.
I had assumed that the default mask (32004) was the way to go but I have seen a
recommendation that the one should also check the "APINCOMPL" flag. This creates
a slightly different mask (32020).
At low galactic latitudes – below 20 degrees – blending is a severe problem but
providing these areas are avoided can the remaining data be used with confidence?
2) I do not seem to have many (any?) postings from this list recently. All gone
quiet, or problems at my end?
