Re: TASS CCDs

Hi Dirk,

First, yours is the kind of proposal that I am seeking. The B, R camera
heads are easy and one each is built, but some research will be required
to get the B, R lenses working. There were errors in the original lens
design which I learned how to fix for the V, I lenses. I think the B,R
parts have been machined correctly, but I have never put one together.

The impression I got over the years is that more V, I systems were
better than a BVRI system.

I think the thing to do is to keep following the list. We shall see if
I will last to run through this season.

I hope you realize that you will have to come here with a truck/van to
get a system. I can provide Dan who knows how to take things apart and
probably my neighbor who helped me take the first system to nofs.

I think the first thing for you is to get Arne's nofs system working and
taking data. If I see that, I will be very encouraged to send you all
the systems you can handle.

Let me know if you are not on the list and I will get you on it.
