First Run of 06
Last night I ran darks and flats and then took data. The result was
400,000 measurement lines. Only 50,000 had both V and I measurements.
It was pretty scuzzy. Of the 400,000 lines most were missing the V
measurement. This is OK and is what is expected for faint red stars.
But something else was often limiting the V. Most of the frames looked
pretty good.
I was amazed that I could remember how to do everything. Comment lines
do help. Next week I will get tom2 and tom3 working.
I have decided to run this year at 100 second exposure. The 200 second
runs (2005) did not really get enough more stars to make them worth the
slow down.
