volunteer to moderate the mailing list

  There's been a growing number of spam messages on
this mailing list.  I would like to volunteer to 
moderate the list, so that only approved messages
would reach subscribers.  

  I'm not sure where the mailing list is being
run right now.  Which machine is it?  Who is the
admin?  If someone with admin responsibilities for
the list would give me the appropriate information,
I'd be happy to do all the rest.
