Subject: Using the Apple Notebook
What I mostly want to do, is sit in my bed and ssh to the various
computers running the telescopes. I use DS9 to look at the images and
gnuplot to plot stuff. I presently do all this from a PC running linux
in my office. I assume the apple terminal window is just like my linux
machine.
I assume I can solve my eyesight problem (this limits my use of the mac
mini since I can't get close enough to the screen the way I have it set
up) somehow on the Mac?
One thing I use is a lot of desktops. I use 9 just to run the 3
telescopes, and a couple more to edit and look at the internet. Anyone
see any problems?
