The reprocessing is going smoothly. Most disks can be processed by the
code I have written. Just load disks and run. The loading process goes
pretty much at loading data speed. Checks have to be made, so one has
to sit there while loading. Once a batch of six days are loaded for a
camera, it just runs for 36 hours or so.
A few archive disks fail the check process and have to be worked by
looking at the files and loading the appropriate ones from the archive
disk. Not so bad.
I plan to convert the whole archive to the form 3670_t2 where 3670 is
the JD, and t2 is the camera. It looks like I only 200 or so days to
process. This could be done by one machine in about 2 months. We shall
see. Then I will have to fuss with all the data to convert it to the
new format.
